Wonderful Dining Experience at Wayang Restaurant I had a great experience at Wayang Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared perfectly and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant also has a pleasant and relaxing ambience, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality of food and service provided. I highly recommend Wayang Restaurant to anyone looking for tasty food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere at an affordable price. I will definitely come back again! 😊

The place has authentic Indonesian taste on their food. Expect self-service and to-go, but the place has a good seatings lay-out if you want to eat there, and you’ll be satisfied with the food. All food we ordered came out great, fresh, tasty. Try their fried duck, corned beef fried rice, prawn stinky bean, tempeh mendoan, and fried chicken.

Sich authentic Indonesian food!! I was so pleasantly impressed and the lady cooking was relatively quick. We had the nasi goreng (fried rice) and ayam kremes (chicken with crispy things) and both were great. We were originally were going to get the salted fish fried rice but the lady said her salted fish wouldn't be great that day since it wasn't super fresh or something and strongly encouraged us to pick a different protein - how kind and sweet! The garlic kangkung (water spinach) was nicely sauteed. My 2nd most favorite from what we ordered that evening was the tempe mendoan - well fried and not super oily! My most favorite dish from that evening was the kwetiau and the char smoky flavor was there :) Note they usually just do takeout since they don't have any waiters or servers. Good to order ahead since you may have to wait a while if she's already working on another order.

I came to the US from Indonesia around 8 months ago, and never dared to try an Indonesian restaurant because I was afraid they wouldn't do it right. However, this restaurant truly served authentic Indonesian food. Sure it's not 100% the same, but it truly is so close to what I taste back home. The owner is such a kind and friendly Indonesian lady. I had such a memorable time here and will be coming back again. If you want to taste authentic Indonesian food, this is definitely one of the places I would recommend

This is one of the restaurants that gets unnoticed for not having enough review or marketing. I saw some pictures, looked tasty so I wanted to try out. Food is so good that I forgot to take all the pics. This place is ran by a strong single woman of color who cooks, cleans, and manages everything all by herself. Food is fresh, healthy, tasty, and unique. They owner is really nice. I 100% recommend this place. I will definitely come back. I hope all the best to the owner and her business.
